Urban Bagel is a New York-Style bagel food truck. For this project, I drew inspiration from the graffiti and street art seen all throughout the city and used actual spray paint in the identity system. I kept the spray paint use to a minimum, however, to keep the look clean and more up-scale. I used a bold sans-serif type to give the brand a more modern look and to also draw back to the business side of New York to juxtapose against the grungy, urban side.
For the packaging, I wanted to make it as functional and easy to carry as possible to make commuting in the big city easier. For this reason, I created an all-in-one tray that acts as a bag to carry a whole meal. It carries an entree box (that also holds sauces and cream cheese) and a drink without any spillage.
